Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11.09.2026.
This Cookie Policy explains what data we store in your browser when you visit this site, why, for how long, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. This site does not use classic tracking cookies — instead it uses browser local storage, a similar technology that keeps data strictly on your device, without sending it to our servers.
2. Data we currently store
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
avalena_lang | Remembers your chosen display language (HR/EN). | Necessary · local storage | Until manually cleared |
avalena_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie/privacy preference choices. | Necessary · local storage | Until manually cleared |
3. Analytics and marketing cookies
Our cookie settings offer "analytics" and "marketing" categories you can consent to. These categories are not currently active — the site does not use any visitor analytics or marketing tracking tools. If we introduce such tools in the future (e.g. to understand site traffic), they will only be activated for users who have given consent, and this Cookie Policy will be updated with details of the new cookies.
4. External resources (fonts and icons)
To display correctly, this site loads Google Fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Jost) and Font Awesome icons from an external CDN (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com, cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Loading these resources causes your browser to connect to those servers, which may technically log your IP address, independent of your cookie preferences on this site. These resources are required for the page to render correctly.
5. Managing your cookie settings
You can change your choice at any time using the button below, or via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
6. Your consent
Necessary local storage does not require your consent, as it is essential for the site to function. For all other categories we ask for your explicit consent before activation, and you can withdraw it at any time via the cookie settings. Read more about how we process personal data in our Privacy Policy.
